Green eye Grandma

I want to explain about the title of this latest blog. I can't believe how I have become a green eyed grandma. I wish that I could do more for my family. I went from a 2 income home to just me and I have been struggling with not having money to do & buy things for my family. I hope my love for them is enough. They are the greatest and most important thing in my life. I am going to retire of March 1, 2011 and at the end of that month I will be moving from, Ogden. I will be living with Nick & Jamie and will be the Grandma in the basement. It will help me so much to not have to pay for this house and maybe my health will improve.

my first

Can't believe that I am doing this. My first blog. It might be interesting to see if I keep this up. I have loved reading other blogs so I decided I might be interesting too? One thing that made me think how important it is to keeps records is I came across the box we used to keep for Leap year. I had so much fun reading through and looking at all the info in the box. When I opened it up on top was 5 ping pong balls. Why ping pong balls? either we are all balls or we played ping pong before we sealed up the box. The date we started the box was in 1988. Boys I promise I will give you copies. We wrote a favorite page, pictures, went to Farr Ice cream and took the same route going to Farr. Nic was the only one who wrote in 2000-2004. Kinda made me sad that everyone is gone. But happy for all that has happened. I use to want a eternity ring for a wedding anniversary gift but I am know divorced. I use to cry when I would see the TV commercial for it. But I have decided when I am rich enough I will buy myself a ring. It would be for me! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd part of my life. The reason I think I am in the 3rd part of my life is I am almost retired and I hope the fun just begins.
